• Look for the MVPs to have some information you can choose to hand out at Back to School night August 21st
• Harvest Festival Oct 25th
  • Let us know if we can help your class organize a fundraiser during this event
• Heritage Festival Nov 14th
  • We are excited to announce that we have worked with Mr Platt to  tentatively schedule this event for November 14th, 2025. This is a school wide, during school hours, assembly-style community event with no fundraising component designed to celebrate our Mar Vista community.  While the details are TBD, we invite each of you to engage your room parents or class families to see if there are students, families, or staff who are passionate about representing and sharing our multicultural traditions. We welcome any and all ideas to make this a fun, learning, celebratory, and unifying experience for all grades.
• Read-A-Thon and Pages ‘n PJs
  • This year this event has moved up the schedule to February, to help the end of year /Spring season feel slightly less jam-packed. “Love of Reading” Read-a-Thon week this year will be February 2-13th, with Pages ‘n PJs on Thursday Feb 12th.
• Mar Vista Auction March 21st
  • The auction was such a fun and successful event last year. Let’s make it even better by having class projects up for auction! Let us know if you, or your room parents need support from the MVPs for a class project.

The Mar Vista Parent and School Club is committed to partnering with you to create a positive and enriching school experience for every student. We know how much time, creativity, and care you pour into your classrooms, and we want to help however we can.
