Through mid-September, school activities focus on fall academic testing alongside the annual Drive for Schools Fundraiser, which runs from September 10th through October 18th. Please Read more below about this important fundraiser!

Drive for Schools Fundraiser: From Thursday September 10th through Sunday October 18th, Mar Vista will be selling Drive for Schools tickets as one of our major MVP fundraisers of the school year. Sponsored entirely by the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk with a grand prize of $25,000 cash! and 100 other fun and valuable prizes. Our amazing home and school club “MVPs” will be at Mar Vista School and in the community offering opportunities to buy raffle tickets for you to be entered into the October raffle for earning great prizes. 100% of the proceeds that we sell from Mar Vista School will go directly back to our school! In alignment with Mar Vista School’s P.E.D (Personal Electronic Device) Policy- the MVPs support the initiative to wait on giving children smart phones, and to restrict the use of smart phones/devices and social media during the school day.
